I joined Qentinel in early 2007 for my work practice. Two months later, I participated in my first customer project and became a testing consultant. Though I will soon complete my degree in business information technology, prior to joining Qentinel I had no significant work experience in IT. This was not a problem, since at Qentinel we always have the opportunity to develop our skills through training.
Working at Qentinel is interesting and challenging. Among other tasks, my responsibilities include the planning, execution and reporting of software tests. Additionally, there are always projects that add variety and interest to day-to-day activities. For instance, a key part of one project was automating test cases using the Perl programming language. I find it very interesting that I can contribute to the quality of the system under construction through my work.
Qentinel truly cares about its employees. We are not treated as production resources, but as people. The company has good employee benefits and an excellent work atmosphere.
I believe that the testing industry will continue to grow in the future, and am happy to recommend Qentinel as a place to work. Qentinel is a great place for people who are extroverted, hard-working, and, above all, interested in testing and quality assurance.
