Doseco's new DIS dosimeter reads the radiation dose measurements from personal dosimeters and delivers them to Doseco for analysis. This system must conform to standards according to regulations set by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority. The standards make strict demands on the security of the dosimeter data delivery system, focusing on data integrity and confidentiality.
Qentinel evaluated the standards compliance of the data delivery component of Doseco's DIS dosimeter. The result of the project was a technical security analysis of the system and its data delivery components, the telecommunications protocols used and the risks associated with the algorithms used by the data delivery system. With the help of this analysis, Doseco can ensure that their system fully complies with the required standards and that it maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the delivered data in all situations.
