What we did

In the first phase of the project, the data communications networks of the agencies that had previously worked on separate premises were connected, enabling access to their new, shared services. In the second phase of the project, the data connections and local area networks of the new premises were planned and implemented. In the final phase, before 500 employees moved to their new premises, deployment testing was performed.

When RAY decided to launch online gaming services, they asked Qentinel to help them in selecting the right vendor. At the beginning of the project, Qentinel defined the criteria for testing RAY’s Internet gaming system. The criteria made it easier for RAY to evaluate what kind of system they needed and what they should choose. In addition, Qentinel provided RAY with quality assurance requirements as a part of the gaming system’s bidding process. The documents focused on the selection criteria, among other things.

FELM ensured the suitability of their CRM system

The Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (FELM) is a mission organisation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The organisation works in nearly 30 countries on five continents, primarily with Lutheran churches. As fundraising is one of FELM’s key tasks, they needed a CRM system tailored for this purpose.

Our objective was to mitigate the risks related to the acquisition, so we took control of test management and created both a test plan and test strategy for the system.

What we did

We created a Quality Documentation Package for VR Group, and the most important part of the package is the Quality Handbook which is designed to promote quality assurance in the different phases of software projects and to increase project success. VR’s Passenger Services involved us in a large project, where we had the opportunity to pilot the Quality Documentation Package and test model, which is a part of the package. We also participated in reviewing the outputs of the specification and design phases as well as planning and developing the test process.
