Qentinel integrates agile testing as a part of software development in organizations. "Instead of being just ideological conversation, the agile development methods are growing little by little to a natural way of doing software development, especially at new projects that include a lot of uncertainty. Therefore we thought it was justified to develop and productize testing methods that adapt to agile software development. We have done the research both in cooperation with customers and in internal research projects", Qentinel's CEO Esko Hannula tells. Qentinel has published a press release in Finnish about the issue.
Qentinel participated in TalentIT event (1.11.2007)
Qentinel Oy participated in the now traditional TalentIT event on 1.11.2007 in Dipoli. In previous years Qentinel has made numerous contacts. "This was fifth time that we participated in the TalentIT event. This year we made even more contacts than previous years" says Qentinel CEO Esko Hannula. This year Qentinel held also lottery, where the price was opportunity to participate in "Model Based Testing in General and Domain Specific Approach" training presented by Mika Katara on 13.11.2007. Price winner was Marcus Dobrinkat.
Qentinel Oy's fiscal year 1.7.2006-30.6.2007 (23.10.2007)
During the fiscal year 1.7.2006 - 30.6.2007 Qentinel Oy reached it's objective to continue the profitable growth of turnover. The demand for services was exceptionally strong throughout the whole fiscal period. Qentinel's turnover reached 4.714.691,30 euros and the profit was 694.868,51 euros. The services were provided to several industrial sectors in Finland. The customer base of Qentinel expanded and the cooperation with several customers was strengthened. Also the average size of projects grew during the fiscal year. Qentinel Oy will aim to further continue the profitable growth of turnover.
Qentinel participates EuroSTAR conference (16.10.2007)
Qentinel will attend the 15th EuroSTAR conference on Software Testing Analysis & Review. EuroSTAR 2007 takes place in Stockholm, Sweden, on 3-6 December. The topic of Qentinel's presentation is "Managing System-Level Integration Tests."
Qentinel acknowledged with a certificate for the credit Rating classification AAA® (5.10.2007)
Dun & Bradstreet Finland Oy has again acknowledged Qentinel with a certificate for the credit Rating classification AAA®.AAA® is the highest of seven possible rating classes. AAA® rating is achieved by 2 % of the companies in IT field.
Qentinel hosts "What will tester be when he grows up?" event (18.09.2007)
Qentinel hosts "What will tester be when he grows up?" event on 27.9.2007 at 14:30 in Innopoli 1, Espoo. The agenda includes conversation about developing as a tester, in which both Qentinel's presenters and the audience will participate. Also a workshop concentrating on the career paths of a tester is organized.
Qentinel and Hansel signed frame agreement (18.09.2007)
Subsequent to the agreement, Hansel's customers will have already tendered software and information system testing services for their use. Hansel's frame agreements can be utilised by the State's procurement units, such as ministries and ministerial offices, as well as State agencies and publicly-owned enterprises.
"Qentinel is an independent provider of software testing and quality assurance services. In this framework arrangement we are the sole supplier concentrated only on testing services. Specialization and being independent guarantee solid know-how and credible status as the building inspector of information technology", Qentinel's CEO Esko Hannula explains.
