Qentinel Business Review 2008 (31.10.2008)

Qentinel’s Business Review 2008 is published. In the publication we have collected our thoughts on quality assurance and testing, an article on Qentinel’s product development and organization and a few selected customer cases. We also introduce Qentinel’s new service product divisions "Successful Product" and "Successful Deployment". Publication can be downloaded in pdf–format. You can also order the publication as a hard copy by sending your name and address in an email to info@qentinel.com

TalentIT 6.11.2008 at Dipoli (Otakaari 24, Espoo) (29.10.2008)

Qentinel will traditionally participate in the TalentIT event, organized for the sixth time at Dipoli in November. During the past years, Qentinel has had many interested visitors at it's stand and made new contacts. You are welcome to visit Qentinel's stand at booth C64!

Qentinel participates Management Event's E-Service and E-Business conference (6.10.2008)

Qentinel participates E-Service and E-Business conference, organized yearly by Management Events. The Conference will take place on 22.-23.10.2008 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Helsinki. The program includes following themes: Usability of E-services, electrifying service processes, the meaning of interactivity and sense of community in e-business, E-commerce solutions, Portals, Electronic payment and Invoicing. Qentinel will give a presentation in the conference, on topic "Qualified Procurement - Can Quality Assurance Influence on Results? "

Qentinel participates Project Management Days in Dipoli, Espoo (6.10.2008)

Qentinel participates Project Management Days organized yearly by Project Management Association Finland. The conference and exhibition will take place on 18.-19.11.2008 in Dipoli, Espoo. Theme of the day is "Provisions to Success" and there are plenty of presentations. Qentinel has its own department there and will give a presentation in the event. Qentinel Ltd: Fiscal year 1.7.2007-30.6.2008 (17.09.2008)

Qentinel Ltd continued to grow strongly during the sixth fiscal year (1.7.2007-30.6.2008). Qentinel's turnover on the fiscal period was a bit under 6,8 million euros, the profit being 1,1 million euros. During the fiscal year, Qentinel intensified cooperation with its customers, in addition to expanding it's clientele by soliciting 16 new customers.

Qentinel's top management was strengthened by appointing Ulla Rantanen as Consulting Manager. The sales function was re-organized to better respond to the needs of differenct customer segments, concurrently appointing P&L responsible Business Area Managers.

On the current fiscal year, Qentinel Ltd will aim to continue its profitable growth.

Qentinel participates State Administration’s Expert Day in Wanha Satama (11.09.2008)

The Finnish State Administration's Expert Day is organized 17.9. in Wanha Satama Congress Center by Hansel and its contract suppliers. Theme of the event is "Viewpoints in centralization". Welcome to the event and to Qentinel's booth E17 to discuss on IT procurements' quality assurance and testing!

At the end of the day a buffet dinner is served, and visitors will be entertained by a capella band Fork. You can also visit IT Governance Event held same time in same place.

Qentinel renews its organization (11.09.2008)

A new organizational structure has come into effect at Qentinel.

Ulla Rantanen has been appointed as Consulting Manager for the Consulting area. She is accountable for the Competence Center, Recruitment and Subcontracting. Rantanen is also a member of Qentinel's management team.

Technology - area is managed by Chief Technology Officer Harri Töhönen, who is accountable for service products, research and development, production technology, information management, and knowledge management. Töhönen is also a member of the management team.

Production Management - area is managed by Chief Operating Officer Mari Lättilä. She is also in the management team.

CEO Esko Hannula is responsible for Qentinel's Marketing and Sales - area of responsibility.

Katja Kuusikumpu and Marjo Sjöberg have been appointed as Business Area Managers to be responsible for both sales and service marketing in their respective business areas, Software Providers and Software Users. Sjöberg is also responsible for marketing management, and is a member of Qentinel's management team.

Other members of Marketing and Sales organization are Account Manager Kalle Huttunen, who is responsible for telecommunication companies, and Account Manager Terttu Vainio, who is responsible for Corporate IT organizations, and Business Development Manager Jyri Kuivalainen.

The administrative services of Finance and Human Resources are responsibilities of Office Manager. Riina Keurulainen is appointed to this post.

Qentinel appears for the first time on the "TiVi 250" list published by Tietoviikko (4.07.2008)

The "250 largest IT companies" list, also known as "TiVi 250" is annually published by Tietoviikko. For the first time Qentinel appears on the list. Qentinel's rank, based on the figures of fiscal year 2006 - 2007 was 216. Qentinel was also mentioned in various TOP-30 lists such as "Best profitability" and "Best growth rate". Qentinel was also among the 30 companies whose overall financial performance was graded at 10 using the school grades.

Qentinel participates Tieturi's Testing 2008 Conference on 27.5.2008 (19.05.2008)

Qentinel participates Testing 2008 Conference on 27.5.2008, organized yearly by Tieturi. The conference gathers testing professionals to find out about the current issues and share experiences on the challenges and opportunities of testing.
Qentinel's quality professionals will give two lectures in the conference, on topics "Focusing testing" and "Exploratory testing in acceptance testing".
